From Belgian and French Antiques post here
This is the view from nearly the start of the line as we
waited for last year’s Atelier de Campagne container sale.
More photos at Bright Notes from the Antiques Sale here
To see what my sister did with one of her finds see Bedhead here
A few photos I didn’t post last year…
Spring blossoms were everywhere…
I would say Johan and Trinidad specialize in French and Belgian
garden antiques, though they have plenty of chandeliers and
trumeau mirrors, industrial finds, shutters and vintage furniture.
If you are curious about Johan and Trinidad …
Their bio can be found here
A corner of their conservatory room…
Hold tags are handed out as you wait in line
and quickly appear on favorite items…
He (or she) who hesitates is lost…
All above are my photos from last year’s sale. Many items
coming in for this sale and current inventory can be found here
More info about Atelier at Flea Markets in Alameda and Long Beach
as well as a great photo of a container being unloaded here
They’ll be at Remnant of the Past in Nipomo on April 30th.
Loved Trinidad’s latest post on Aging with Grace and Beauty here
The next container is due in August for those that want
to rent a beach house nearby and make the trek! Now wouldn’t
that be fun!
Back to the garden…hope you’ve all had a
wonderful weekend!
I want to go to the show! They need to come out and do Brimfield so I can shop them. Just a few more weeks and I get to shop antiques!
Thanks for pointing them out for us… heading over there directly.
You should come in the fall to Round Top, Tx. and enjoy an incredible Antique show that is hosted in that little town twice a year. It is a wonderful occasion. I actually bought a home in the town so it would be easier to enjoy all that the show had to offer. Would love to welcome you to Texas sometimes.
Hi Karen…I’d love to come to Round Top some day! Soon!
I could attend the Long Beach show…I love the wire bird aviary in your image from last year. How fun. I’ll have to look into it.
Karen
As I drool over the photos of the show, once again I haven’t a clue as to why I live in Michigan! Thank you for sharing it with us through your pictures.
Miss Trish-
Are you trying to torture us? ;]
Nice to see you’re joining us daily posters!
This stuff does move about and show up at flea markets and shops across the country. Some of our flea market guys even bring things back from Round Top. Loved when we got ribbons from NY. I love seeing what’s turning up all around the country. Re blogging: Once my garden starts showing off…I’ll definitely pick up the pace. Promise!
Thank you for giving me a wonderful wonderful Monday! (Not my favorite day of the week!)
Get your camera ready dear Trish, we want you here. Your photos makes it all look so much more wonderful.
Thank you again for being so generous with your time and sharing our event with your followers, Several of them have already contacted us.
Merci Belle Madame!
Trinidad, Johan, and Martin
It’s my favorite way to spend a Spring day. You guys are so much fun!
It looks like the best time, Trish! Wish I could attend someday. I am looking forward to our first sale here at home, won’t be till May. Next to gardening and flowers, antiquing is my favourite pastime also! Thank you for a first fix, Nella
Trish,
All treasures here!! Beautiful! I love the chandelier you showed and the wine vases !!! I have always loved that picture of your sister’s bedroom! She did a wonderful job with the bedhead!
