I’m in love with these 18th c. shoes. Laboutins have nothing over them. Thank you for the photos. Mary
Wow—these are amazing works of art… I would place them on a shelf and just admire them…
I cannot decide which one is my favorite—it is a toss between the first and second, though
the second is so entirely feminine, and the first, more regal and elegant. Thank you for
sharing these with us 🙂
I agree Trish they are completely delicious its just amazing that we are still able to see such wonderful examples and enjoy wondering about who wore them and where mmmmmm fay xxx
What lovely little works of art! I can’t imagine actually wearing them though! I think I like the stripe shoes the most. So dainty and lovely!
You already know how much I love these shoes. When I saw the first pair and the hand stitching around the edges I thought for sure you were going to say you made them. Come on Trish we both know you’re dying to try your hand on these…go for it!
How flattering…reports of my sewing ability have been greatly exaggerated! But still…one wonders…
Just love them, especially the first pair, and what great condition they are in. Do these belong to you Trish or are you just lusting?!

Hi Sharon…no..no..the pictures will have to do!
What exquisite works of art. It would be impossible to pick a favorite. But I must admit I cannot imagine wearing them. Beautiful to look at.
These are gorgeous. If I had them they would definitely be on display, in the lucite square vitrines (like they use counter-top in jewelry departments of luxury stores). I would enjoy them forever. My favorite is the last pair!
How wonderful! The beauty Fashion never ends!
Tschuess!
Stunning!!!
I love the floral pair…let’s see, do you think they are available at Bloomingdale’s? 🙂
Great shoes are always timeless!

I would love to see what they wore with those shoes. And I wonder what size they are.
Tres elegant!
OH MY!!… Forgive my Wizard of Oz channeling *winks* They are beyond dreamy! Vanna
Three of my favorite categories…pair them with shoes…even antique ones and I’m a goner.
