A little bit of holiday candy…
conjuring up images of candy cane stripes
and ribbon candy…
For those of us still tucked warmly
in our beds, and the rest of us
longing to climb back in again…

Hi Trish Im sure that Sir Percy Blakeny must have slept here mmmmmmmmm delicious
sorry only day dreaming Love it Fay xxx
Ah…the Scarlet Pimpernel! You’re reminding me of how wonderful it would be to tuck in with a few classic novels as well!
Love the use of commoners mattress ticking, love, love, love that room!
I’m speechless. I do believe that I could settle right in.
So wonderful! anybody would surely have “sweet dreams” here!
Délicieux!
Gorgeous! A nap would be wonderful here!
Trish,
I love the little canopy and the scallops on the bed cover—ahhhh, I feel like taking a little nap!

I rather prefer the Scarlet Pumpernickel! One can duck only so long. BTW, how did that excercise in pelmet making come out? Every where I look here I see difficult seams, grading curves, infinite attention to the swing of the place: lots of hard work, no?
You have such a rye wit! I fear a pelmet would be overkill for my bed..and my sewing skills…alas! Thank goodness for pretty pictures that save me the trouble.
Love it. Can’t wait to see what will be continued. Have spent the day taking down decorations. We’re just crazy that way at my house. We can hardly wait to get them up, and then we can hardly wait to get them down. My house is all put back together and I’m having a glass of wine right now and feeling very thankful and wonderful. Happy New Year!
I just found the perfect oval coffee table on Craigslist! I am attempting to make a bed canopy out of it. (The top). I would like to shake the hand of the person who invented stick on Velcro! next project…fancy canopied dog bed out of an ornate Craigslist side table!
This is surely an inspiration!
Brilliant!! Just lovely~could absolutely stay awhile!! Thank you for your inspiration!
Oh yes Trish! This is really eye candy!
