Tesoro
649 Main St
Saint Helena, CA
Favorite little spot to drop into while visiting St. Helena…
More than a florist…great place to find fabulous containers
for artfully arranging that summer farmer’s market bouquet,
or the bounty from your garden…
Love the zinc topped tables…
the wire topiary form almost hidden by the mass of sunflowers…
Zinc, zinc, zinc…sigh…
The footed piece at front has an antiqued mirror surface inside…
So glad I splurged on similar finials a few years ago…
All so magical with the sprays of white flowers…
They can always be counted on for having architectural and vintage
elements to add that touch of floral romance…
a wisp of old blue on the window frame, stone planters, zinc lanterns…
I’m sensing the need for a bit of concrete in my future…
love those troughs…just the perfect understatement for a
succulent or orchid grouping…
Empire wall sconce…antique iron panel…tall stemmed votives…
Love these floral swagged stone finials…
I will probably regret leaving them behind….
They sell sheets of moss to line wire urns like these….
But of course…
lavender sachets…
Also tempted by this footed zinc, fleur de lit
edged wire “basket” …
Can imagine tiny violets wrapped in moss
clustered inside…or powder sugar dusted madelines…
Must return…soon…

Peach Bellini recipe and info on Chickens….how can
you resist!
Love it all! Makes my heart sing.
Gorgeous blog Trish. I love flower shops.
Lovely pics. I drive by Tesoro a few times a week but have never stopped as I thought it was just a florist, I’ve really been missing out! I can picture those floral stone finials finding a home in my garden….
What a fantastic shop–the mix of items and depth of interest is amazing. So many treasures hidden amongst all of the leaves.
Thanks for sharing this beauty.
love you again…………….
Great shop….love all that zinc!
What a fabulous resource! I would love to have something like that in Little Rock. Sigh… We surely do not! when I am in Dallas there is a little similar shop in Highland Park Village that I always love to visit.
Now that’s my kind of shop! I see more than a few things I’d love to have.
And, yes, I think you’ll regret leaving behind the stone finials and the footed zinc, fleur de lit
edged wire “basket” … (Go back!)

Trish, I cannot believe this treasure trove is in St. Helena. It could be in NYC or Chicago or Atlanta…what wonderful stuff! I could not be allowed in this place alone! xx’s Marsha
And, pray tell my little pretty, how DID you manage to come home with only a bag of polenta and taffy (for the boy)? Love zinc. My great aunt Marie (whom I say was MARTHA before Martha was born) had zinc countertops. I remember as a child thinking how beautiful they were. I love stainless, but zinc has more history.
Did you get the committee’s report that you need to return immediately and get those stone finials and etc. etc. etc? Just your posse watching your back.
Oh dear…the siren’s call! I was having a “yes, but where would you put that” moment! Might have to take another trip!
Now I’m really mad that we didn’t have time to stop in St. Helena earlier this week. That store is amazing!
Oh, how I do LOVE this shop. It certainly delights the mind on this rainy day here. Thank you!!!
Sigh. What a place for all kinds of inspiration.
What a beautiful store! Thank god I don’t live near it…. I would have bought every single item! Thank you for sharing all these beautiful pictures.
Ahhh, simply beautiful but then again who doesn’t love flowers?
Trish, if you go back to St. Helena for those swagged stone finials would you please grab that Empire wall sconce for me…you’re a doll!
I would love to visit this shop- adore the zink finials, the zink table..and are going to see if I can find some of those sheets of moss here.-that is such a great idea.Colette x
Be still my heart! Once again…exquisite.
So so so pretty! Thank you for sharing this 🙂
Beautiful shop Trish! It looks so similar to the flowershop which is my favorite here in Belgium, near Bruges , named “Costersveld”, http://www.costersveld.be.
Have a nice weekend!

I woul love to have a shop like that near by me
Great shop. I love St. Helena but rarely ever get there. have you heard of a store called St. Dizier? What are your thoughts?
Thanks!
I “oohed” and “ahhed” all the way through that shop with you. Beauty at every turn. My husband and I are due for a return to the wine country soon, so I’ll have to add this to our growing list! Thanks for sharing!
