Time to throw ourselves outdoors…
Have been waiting for the last of the spring rains
so I could toss pillows and myself outdoors…
Husband on vacation, kids moving hither and yon,
a wide patch of new landscape cleared of stumps
and old ivy, “Walt Whitman” compost (Leaves of Grass)
scattered across the garden, thirty new lavender
plants crisscrossing over new terrain…
The full tilt into summer begins!
Stunning…my very favourite time of year. Looks a little like my garden…..Enjoy….M
Bonjour Trish,
“Time to throw ourselves outdoors…” Great first line. Thirty new lavender plants? What a fabulous time you have planned for yourself. Enjoy!

I would happily make myself comfotable in your daybed with a huge bowl of fresh cherries…some bubbly,…french garden books,…and allow myself to fall asleep….
I say goodbye, and will talk to you from the French countryside. Salut Colxx
Send me photos!!!! You lucky, lucky girl!!!!!
I am moving – to your backyard! I would be purring like a painfully content cat in that daybed!
A warm hug. Mon.
That daybed looks oh so inviting and I would gladly adopt Colette’s garden fantasy!
