A bucket of peonies I picked from my garden yesterday
alongside my antique French linen sheets I uses as drapes…
Our two story house is positioned adjacent to the hillside so that
though we climb the steps to get to the bedrooms, we have
terra ferma outside our master bedroom at the end of the hall.
Working on this patio these days, painting these found shutters,
planning a new scheme of lavender and erigeron and olive trees, to
supplement the existing white roses and hazy silver and blue nepata…
A busily perfect Sunday
Again, love those peonies. Mine are just buds as yet, here in Canada. We are promised warm, sunny weather this week. I will be in the garden.
stunning stillife!
I wish my peonies got that large – yours are as big as my head!
Trish-
Do you live in paradise?
Seriously, it is just gorgeous and peaceful.
Yes Trish that is the sound of me weeping that you can hear! Your peonies are magnificent – you give me hope that one day my stubborn little things will grow up and be as beautiful as yours. In the meantime I’ll just drool over this fabulous photo! Leigh

These peonies are real beauties … And your house sounds like paradise ….
Thank you for all your sweet comments. If you focus on the peonies, you hardly notice the c. 1960’s pink cement patio. Flowers always make the “to do” list more doable!
Sounds perfect! I adore your peonies…peonies are one of my favorite flowers of all. So full and lovely…
