Fantastic colors and compositions… very inspirational!
When you actually put “florids” (or as I like to think of them in your case as “floralids), I will feel the earth move all the way from California. When it comes to interior reds, I think you are a flirt!
Hi HBD. Well Florid means “flowery adjective. flushed with red or pink; rosy; ruddy: said of the complexion; highly decorated; gaudy; showy; ornate a florid musical passage”…so its really a one shot word! You know the roses are comin in as soon as they hatch, right?! Its not drapes or upholstery…but it’ll do, no? Someday I will shock you and buy a red velvet couch. With tassels.
These are all so stunning and inspiring. I especially love the first interior – wow.
Hi Ellen. Thank you! First and last photo on my Flower Files post are also from the Piedmont, Italy home of Paolo Pejrone.
Gorgeously inspiring ravishing reds!

Bonjour Trish,
Just beautiful, the fabrics are lovely, especially the chair with the incredible shoes. The first image with the open French doors looks so inviting to me. Though the Madame Issac Perrier is the most spectacular, nothing can compete with nature can it?
Good Friday to you,
Mimi
Oh my, these color, textures and ideas are amazing! I love the chairs, especially…
Hope you’re having a lovely week!
Dear Trish,
You should bring out a book of your own with the title ” How to bring elegance and charm into your life ” by Trish.
As always an eye-candy post Trish! You have such a subtle taste! Oooh I love it!
Have a nice weekend my friend!

I could live in La Trapp’s atelier in a heartbeat! … and it’s close enough I wouldn’t even have to change studios!
Although I love the mute dusty tones of cream and brown, I have to admit that I’m a huge fan of color!

Lovely gardens and homes.
The I de Borgrave’s shoes are fantastiques !
Thank you.
Céline.
