Have a wonderful weekend…and be sure to check out French Kissed’s
great on location shots here and here …
My favorite of Jermaine’s posts from her recent visit to France.
Wonderful look at the famed Beaux Arts de Paris. And with
a few espionage moves she was able to get the best hands
down photos of the Paris Astier de Villatte shop…
I love the roses and stripes… seems we are both in a stripe mood lately.

i like the combo (stripes and roses). reminds me of french 18th century rococo
Thank you again Trish for this beautiful post of today!

Greet
Greet’s on the look-out for some antique roses. I sent her this link here of a French nursery. If anyone else knows of good nurseries near Belgium…let her (or me) know! Merci!
You just picked roses today? It was -2F last night here. I may have to take a break from your blog because I’m seething with jealosy.
That rose is an outlier…most of my garden is still asleep!
I think stripes go great with anything. And I am with balsamfir about wishful lusting of anything in bloom here. We grow many of the same roses. And while my roses grow on their on roots, every spring there is a death toll somewhere. It’s a lesson in hubris/humility to try to grow organically in the midwest. I have had to hardened my heart and give up on many a beauty who didn’t wish to grow well here. That’s why your garden is such a treat. If fact if eye candy could give you brain cavities, I’d have it!
Hello Trish,
Love the old wallpaper with the stripes and roses ~
I always feel so inspired when I come and visit you and just love all the beauty you share.
All your roses are fabulous, but the one I adore most, is the Souvenir de Malmaison ~ the soft colour is gorgeous.
Happy weekend
Hugs
Carolyn
