I couldn’t make it today–now I feel that I was there! If only you could add the smell of the food vendors…sigh.–Sue

What a small world it is, I bought my very first piece of antique French printed Toile from Karen at La Maison Violette, I bought it out of curiosity, and have been hooked on them ever since. I have really enjoyed your beautifully evocative images as always. Lois xx
Hi Lois. Really?! Thank you so much for telling me! Love your blog here and of course your Ebay site here. You’re a great resource for textile nuts.
More butterflies, merci Trish – I adore them and the other things are also gorgeous. A fabulous way to spend a day…..

I was at the antique show too! However, you found some treasures that I apparently did not see. Your photography is amazing! We lucked out and bought our dream chandelier from Big Daddy Antiques. Love that guy! Wish I would have seen the butterflies though! Guess you were there earlier than we were!
Love these finds! There’s nothing like vintage and antique shopping for those perfect, one-ofs!
That architectural piece off a church in Provence is PURE HEAVEN. I love the one in your home

Enjoy your new finds / I hope your week is off to a great start 🙂

Thank you so much for sharing pictures from the fleamarket! There certainly seemed to be some lovely things there this time and I hope that you brought some treasures home with you. I was so sad to have to miss it, but my husband’s club had a brunch at the Palace Hotel that morning that was too tempting to resist. I was glad to get a thrifting fix at the Oakland Museum’s White Elephant Sale the day before though. Did you happen to go?
