Love this feature in Cote Est- just read it the other night. Their house is beautiful!
Beautiful images! I would love to poke around in THAT shop!

Love the textures and sparkles.

I love the juxtaposition of a crystal chandelier over a steel and reclaimed-wood table, and the plank parquet floor. You never see floor patterns like this in the states, but I’m considering doing one at Garvinweasel, and hope that Santa will deliver a planer and router so I can give a try. Thanks for this lovely post!
We wait with bated breath for Xmas! Fingers crossed! I’d love to know how to/see someone else do a parquet floor.
Lovely, truthful, authentic images. Love the contrasts. To James XVI: you are my kind of guy! No one else I know lusts for a planer with the hope of doing floors like this. May the giver of great gifts come your way.
Hi HBD…what is it about that can do spirit? I was looking at reclaimed wood today for my office. Thought I’d just slap the wide planks down, couldn’t imagine trying parquet. It will be fun living more dangerously… vicariously…through James.
Best in Show…the hunting dogs…I adore them!
