So excited to see this post and color called “Medici” gold. Having the great fortune to spend a month in Italy in the Summer of ’89 with husband and son, we were inspired to have a newly purchased home faux painted.
The most outstanding room was the dining room; a very ordinary box of a room with chair rail and flowered wall paper.
The painter was amazing; used a purple under the Medici gold and added
real gold paint in the corners. It was a show stopper…thanks for triggering the memory. Love these blogs: trouvais and vintage white
