My favorite restaurant is a quick stroll from Chateau Sonoma…

Have a lovely weekend!

Breathtaking! XO
The roses look good enough to eat! Wonderful!
I think I would stay at home- but don’t eat the daisies! I have Madame Issac Periere blooming away in NC-she gives and gives- and in profusion. Gorgeous photographs.
Such beauties Trish! Adore these luscious roses!

If you made it to the Chateau Sonoma event, please post some pictures! I so wanted to go, but time was not on my side. Your roses are lovely. Mine have, sadly, been beaten by these late season storms we’ve been having. Enjoy your weekend,
Suzanne
Hi Suzanne. Noticed Dreamy Whites went…post here.
See you at the flea!
so dear Trish,…how was the weekend plans..please share Atelier’s treasures with us if you were there…I am so in awe of what they do.
I dedicated my post on Villandry gardens to you..I remember when we were there, knowing how you love your garden, I wished that you could be walking next to me through the most inspiring gardens..hugs Colette ~ Afrique du Sud
Where do you get your antique roses? I’ve been looking for the Madame Ernest Calvat one since I smelled it somewhere and fell in love.
Thanks!
Hi. My first and best roses came from Roses of Yesterday and Today here. A reader suggested Roque Valley Roses here (and I see they have M. Calvat). I was told M. Calvat was a sport (offspring) of Mme. Perierre. Both are the MOST fragrant of all my roses.
I have come back several times a day to your posts on roses. Your photos are gorgeous and I have fallen in love with your posts and pictures. I had a late and wonderful first flush of roses but then we had heavy winds and rain and now I wait for the second bloomings. Your gardens and presentations have been exquisite. You are definitely
queen of the roses.
I noticed in your note above that you mention Roses of Yesterday and Today, they were always a favorite and it’s difficult to find anyone quite like them.
Thank you so much for the beauty you have shown us.
This is absolutely gorgeous. I grow roses..would love to grow more antique roses. The older roses seem to have the most fragrance. Being a natural perfumer I use the petals in my natural perfumes.
