Wow. Gorgeous! And looks at that lovely wicker seat!
Just perfect!Where is our SPRING………yesterday gorgeous today FOG!
Overcast here as well, Elizabeth, on the other side of the bay. Last picture just minutes ago in the garden. Nothing will stop Spring. Looks like next week there will be a riot of blooms in the flower border!
Un immagine bellissima e molto primaverile!!!!
I love orchards and I do love old wooden ladders – particularly the ones on the image,
but nothing can beat your POPPIES !!!
xxxkarin
Bonjour Karin! They are a lazy gardener’s best friend!
That first image is amazing!!! Love the ladders going up the trees and your garden is something else, so beautiful and I can’t wait for my poppies!
I love the cherry blossoms and the old ladders. I watched the movie “Cherry Blossoms” by Dori Dorrie yesterday. They were the pink variety in the film.
Love the ladders! I traded with my gardener! He was happy to get a new aluminum one!!
Cherry blossoms are beautiful…remember the old Perez Prado tune? As a youngster, I got to work in
the harvest of cherries in The Dalles Oregon and although it was work, I always love the beauty of the
majestic cherry trees no matter the season. A bowl of cool cherries is life!
Those ladders are heavy though!
Hugs to you Trish.
Trish,
What a beautiful image…the tall grass, the old, wooden ladders and the wicker, so inviting.
I orders some poppies like yours from Annie’s. Can’t wait for them to arrive.

Hi Karen….a photo of a poppy seed pods from last summer
Click photo to see post. Once the heads dry…you can hear the rattle of next year’s seed inside.
LOVE the repeated graphics of the old ladders! …and the seats to rest in after all that climbing.
What a gorgeous image…love the ladders!! The poppies are so, so beautiful ~
What a beautiful image that first one is! I’ve never seen ladders like these before. Thanks for sharing!
Trish, love the ladders and so cleverly displayed. Here in Niagara we are surrounded by fruit orchards, and I can remember picking fruit as a teenager, and yes, they are heavy. Nothing is more gorgeous than fruit orchards in bloom, except your ethereal poppy border!!! Too lovely! Can’t wait for more. Nell xo
Just awesome!! thank you for sharing Trish. love Colette
Just beautiful!!!!!
Love the visual of the ladders lined up against the trees.

I agree with French Curiosites about the enchanting line of the line of ladders (making wonderful shadows I suspect). The poppies are poppin’ (what do you plant to cover up when the poppies go missing?). Here is Kansas we play the spring yo-yo. The magnolias, redbuds and crabapples had their showtime. The Dogwoods are bravely struggling to show off. The peonies are leaping up everyday and the beautiful green in all shades has returned…and we dodged that horrible tornado that went south in a big cruel way. Heart goes out to all who were in this path of destruction.
I have a few geraniums (the cranesbill type…not pelargonium) that are loitering below the foliage! Thanks for reminding me that I should pay a visit to my favorite geranium source here. I’ll have to post about this lady, she collects geraniums from all over the world. These plants are my favorite perennial back up in the border!
Trish, the poppies are beautiful. I love them; however, do not have any success growing them in South Louisiana. Adore the picture of the cherry orchard. Just beautiful! Have a wonderful weekend!
