For all of us who have a long list of chores
to start the week off…and would love to
crawl back to bed….a few sources to sneak
a peak at….
And So to Bed here
Maryanne at Beadboard UpCountry is the exclusive US store for the
gorgeous Italian Arte Pura line of linen bedding. Available in 38 colors,
five trims: lace, eyelet, a ruched edge, a white lace with pearls ,
or the Arte Pura logo embroidered as the trim…you can have a hand
in designing your own bedding, tableware, towels, curtains,
even loungewear….
The trim can go down the opening on the side or can be across the top…
Infinite possibilities….
Trim can be as simple as buttons, more elaborate lace…
Table cloth with lace detail…
Maryanne did a blog post here
that has more photos of the line in her store, plus the
delightful clothesline of colors that her hubby
“Robespierre” created to show them off…
His namesake….
Ruched linen duvet…
This drape is linen inset with organza strips….
Lace edging…
Simple tie detail at top…

Another Beadboard post on Arte Pura here shows off their
Italian script and crystal trimmed options…
I’m just scratching the surface with all the possibilities…
If you want to have your cake and eat it too, this is a
good place to start….though perhaps I shouldn’t
be mentioning cake with Robespierre around…
heads will roll…

Trish, you always find the most divine inspiration! This is just heaven. I want to go right to bed!
Perfetto. I’m redoing bedroom + writing about beds…& you find not only fabulous photographs but a blog, too. Lovely.
ciao
Such gorgeous images…serene and simple. I would love a simple casual linen bed. Terrific inspiration!
mmm. love that headboard!
Although I like seeing it in others’ homes, I’m not a big fan of lace – just not my thing. However, that linen drapery with organza inserts would be spectacular in the right setting. Like, my bedroom, for instance.
It all looks so soft and inviting. I actually did take a nap on Monday, rainy cold dark day perfect for an afternoon nap. It was realllly nice, Kathysue
That ruched linen duvet is to die for!
I’m afraid to ask the price point…
Simply divine line
Hi Therese. Maryanne said they were similar to Bella Notte prices.
Hi Trish,
Beautiful bed linen and love the lace edging, organza and the attention to detail.
Many thanks for sharing and will go and visit Maryanne ~
Have a happy week
Hugs
Carolyn
